Patrick Chapman was born in 1968 in Ireland. He is
the author of three published collections of poetry,
Jazztown (Raven Arts Press, 1991), The New
Pornography (Salmon, 1996) and Touchpaper Star,
(Lapwing, 2004). His short story, A Ghost, won first
prize in the Cinescape Genre Literary Contest, 2003.
His first film, Burning The Bed, adapted from his own
short story, was directed by Denis McArdle and
starred Gina McKee and Aidan Gillen. It won first
prize in the Narrative Short category, Oklahoma
Dead Centre fim festival, in 2004.
