Stacy Lynn Mar is a poet, though she sometimes write the occasional short story, or personal essay. She is a Native of Kentucky, where she was born on February 24th,1982, and raised in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains.
Stacy earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Services at Lindsey Wilson College, in Columbia, Kentucky and is currently enrolled at Capella University where she is earning a Masters in Counseling Studies. Upon graduation, Stacy plans to attend earn her MFA in Creative Writing at Eastern Kentucky University.
Stacy has been published in several ezines and poetry journals, some including All Things Girl, Mastodon Dentist, Poets Haven, The Dande Review, and three times in her college's literary magazine, The Cut-Thru Review.
Stacy currently has one book in publication, titled Anonymous Confessions. She is expecting the release of her second book of poetry, titled Deeper Than Pink, in the summer of '09.
