Having started writing as a means of escaping the boredom of airports and too many hotels enforced by a hectic business life I am now seeking to make this my full time occupation.
Terry Pratchett once said that writing is the most fun you can have on your own and I am not going to disagree with that.
Having lived in the Far East and the Middle East as well as my homeland of Scotland I feel there are so many experiences and memories to draw from in my life to provide the richness needed for a truly believable story.
I have completed one full length manuscript which is currently searching for a dyslexic publisher who might overlook the rawness of a first time offering. In the wings are storyboards for a further nine full length books. Also there are thirty five short stories, some of which are begging to be allowed to grow as they feel they have the potential to become the "real thing". Perhaps.
If it's true that you can achieve what you can dream/picture then I am looking forward to the time when I can admit to being a completely self sustained full time writer, and change the image from dreaming in colour and living in black and white.
