It's always more interesting to learn about people in person (or e-person these days). If you want the "bullet" however, I am originally from Canada, and have been traveling and living abroad for nearly 20 years now. Along the way I have walked the tunnels under the Korean DMZ, done archaeology in Spain, climbed Mt. Fuji, snorkeled in Fiji, taught English in Budapest, graduated from the University of Malta, cuddled a koala in Australia, been violently ill in Czechoslovakia, and worked at a translation agency in Japan. I have also published 6 books to date, as well a number of articles in magazines dealing with peace studies, translation, traditional theater, contemporary performance research, dance, and movement studies. Interests: Theater studies, translation, Japanese language and culture, Kagura (Shinto theater), spirituality, creativity, peace studies, language-teaching, travel, photography
