My name is Brandon Oates, and I am a 21 year old writer. From the age of 8, I have been writing short stories,novels, and screenplays. Before I was old enough to operate a typewriter or word processor, all of my work appeared on notebook paper, most of which is now in the custody of my many teachers, counselors, and principals who wanted an original manuscript just in case I made it big. I am a proud writer who believes in dreams. My grandmother died in 2000 when I was at the age of 13. She encouraged me to pursue my dreams of writing, and never letting anyone tell me that I couldn't. So I focuses hard on my work. My family didn't have a lot of money, so getting my work published would take a lot of hard work. So writing in between jobs was difficult, especially with classes. Today, I am married to a wonderful woman who bore me my first son on December 29th, 2008, and I am ready to take the ropes as both a family man, and an accomplished writer. I am here looking for an agent, the first step in my process, that will help me get my work in front of publishers, tv networks, and my friends and family in pusblished form. Help this young man acheive his dreams and ambitions by starting with just piece of faith.

Interests: I am interested in writing for magazines and newspapers as a freelance journalist. I also enjoy writing political dramas and fantasy fiction.
