I have long had stories and ideas floating in my head. I decided to begin recording
them to paper. Now, I have a desire to see them published.
Masters in Social Work and have worked with children and adults with mental
retardation, developmental disabilities and mental health issues. I am married to
my husband Michael for nearly 22 years and a mother of two teenage sons.

I have been involved in womens ministries for many years planning activities for
fellowship and discipleship. I have been involved in planning a regional women's
conference in Western North Carolina. I have done speaking, training, and
breakout sessions for several agencies and organizations.

I have begun a Becoming a Lady of Proverbs 31 Ministries with an interactive
website. This website allows me to encourage, empower and equip ladies of all
ages and walks of life to become a Lady of Proverbs 31.

A few of the break out session topics I have written are A Not So Dramatic
Testimony and How My Relationship With God is Like Chocolate.

I have written three studies that can be individual, one on one, small group or large
group studies. Home is Where the Heart Is--How to Have a Welcoming Home,
Heart Works Group-From Broken to Mended, and Becoming a Lady of Proverbs 31-
A Ladylike Approach to Accountability and Mentoring.

I have recently began working on my first fiction works, Hope Series. The series
begins with Town of Hope, To Hope Our Hearts Belong, and Hope Remains Strong.
This series is about families who have children with special needs. It is a romance
series of two people who have relatives with disabilities and they build a "Western
Town" as a camp for disabled individuals. This town develops as does the
characters love. It is a beautiful romance story but it is also a story providing hope
when life does not appear to be fair or loving.

I have ghostwritten 45 e-books and have completed over 3000 articles for a variety
of websites, blogs and meeting clients writing needs.

I enjoy using the creative talent I have been given to share unique insights with
others.

Interests: My interests vary depending on the stage in my life, currently I love watching UNCC lacrosse and North Henderson lacrosse. Yep, my boys play college and high school lacrosse and I am a Lacrosse mom. I certainly miss being a hockey mom, but what can
