Since 2002, I have been a stay-at-home caretaker of a disabled parent, which has given me the chance and the time to write. Most of my writing has been of a fannish nature, but since participating in 2004's National Novel-Writing Month, at least some of my writing energy has always been directed at original works.
My interests are scattered at best and definitely non-linear; I like fiction and non-fiction alike, true crime to sci-fi and fantasy with a voracious addiction to romance novels thrown in for good measure.
Being fairly liberal in political and personal beliefs, my writing tends to reflect that, embracing alternative lifestyles and the (hopefully) positive and at least somewhat realistic depiction of gay and lesbian romance.
I have a life-long love of animals, and will often give characters pets as a reflection of that. I've tried my hand at poetry and failed spectacularly; my talents lie in prose, not meter and verse. Interests: reading, writing, gay and lesbian rights
