I am a memoirist, poet and essayist and frequently lecture on
journaling.

My book REGINA'S CLOSET: FINDING MY GRANDMOTHER'S
SECRET JOURNAL won the 2008 Indie Award for Memoir and
the Mom's Choice Award for memoir.

I teach writing in the UCLA Writers' Program.
