My mother died as a result of a medical accident, during childbirth, when I was seven years old. The next four years were in a foster home run by an aunt. This was a primitive farm, without electricity or running water and strict Puritanical standards of belief and practice. Without financial assistance, I graduated from the University of Toronto with B.A., M.Ed. degrees and taught math and science in high schools in Ontario and Quebec for thirty-two years. I married into a family of refinement and culture, from which happy union came six children and 20 grandchildren. Early in life I developed a respect for naturopathic principles and have made this discipline, in addition to Bible reading, a priority in my family. Interests: Bible, Naturopathy, Music
