Eric Pinder lived and worked for seven years at the weather observatory on the summit of Mount Washington ("the highest paying job in New England"). He is the former editor of Windswept: The Quarterly Journal of the Mount Washington Observatory and author of several nonfiction books including NORTH TO KATAHDIN (Milkweed Editions 2005).
His interests include science, nature writing, children's literature, and humor. His most recent projects are a humorous mystery novel (for adults) and several children's picture books and chapter books about moose and dinosaurs.
