Gary MacLean

Rothbury, Michigan, United States

Mr. MacLean is the founder and President of the Michigan based, directional Quality firm, Q21…21st Century Quality, LLC. Mr. MacLean authored the best selling Quality Press book Documenting Quality for ISO 9000 and Other Industry Standards and has been awarded the Golden Quill award for this work. Gary also writes many different Quality instructional papers and guides and has presented them nationally at several independent Quality Councils. Mr. MacLean’s first venture into the non-technical arena was with his self-help book entitled You Know I Love You and eleven other endearing terms…with love…from your cheating partner. This book takes a look at key phrases a cheating partner may use and how the innocent partner in the relationship can identify them and what they should do about it. Gary’s latest work is an intimate look at an eight-year period of time in his life following the divorce of his Mother and Father and the re-marriage of his White Mother to a Black man in 1950’s America. The Suitcase is so named due to the over 20 different physical moves, from address to address, Gary endured with his Mother in that brief eight years. This collection of heart-rending stories is a revealing glimpse into the dark, hidden world of double prejudice. Gary continues to write and is currently working on a sequel to “The Suitcase,” amongst other projects.
