Lisa Loucks Christenson is a national award-winning author and photographer, the publisher of Loucks-Christenson Publishing, LLC, and Mystery Lovers Corner (tm), and the host of Lisa’s Walk the Talk Show, a daily, internationally syndicated radio show. She conducts weekly interviews with celebrities, artists, authors and illustrators for her talk show. Her articles, stories, and photos appear regularly in magazines, books, trade publications, on the web, and in advertisements, and she has written several online photo courses. Her bald eagle projects, wildlife documentaries, and her Winter Bugs! project and exhibits are regularly featured on outdoor television, the National Eagle Center, local and regional newspapers and television, and in the artist profiles of Wildlife Art magazine. Her spacious studio and wildlife gallery is located at 4125 Hwy 52 N, in Rochester, Minnesota and a second location in Stockholm, Wisconsin. Her clients are worldwide individuals, tour groups, and schools who come to visit her galleries to experience her wildlife studies, books, and exhibits that feature her ability to capture animal expressions, and often leave her gallery commenting, “These aren’t pictures—they’re stories.” Lisa makes her home in Rochester, Minnesota with her husband David, and her daughter Emme (also an aspiring writer and illustrator).
Lisa's motto:
"Some days I wear camouflage to work. I look for my images and stories in the quietness of the woods, in the spray of the stream, in my boggy foot steps in the marshes I cross, in the hum of the meadow, on the unmarked trails I discover, in the laughter and in the tears of all I meet. I look for God's hand releasing his sunrise, and wait for his call closing up my day. Other days I write stories or chapters for my books, hold interviews, or shoot in my studio or on location; people, lifestyles, food, but especially nature documentaries. Interests: Photo, Lisa\'s Bald Eagle Documentary, animals, wildlife, science, mystery, romance,
time-travel, YA, children\'s books.
