Carl Purdon
Randolph, Mississippi, United States Email: carl.purdon@gmail.com I wanted to write before I could read. Almost everything I wrote in school got pinned to the corkboard on the wall. Mine was usually the one the teacher read to the class. I was painfully shy.
Upon graduation my father gave me my choice of two technical courses in community college, or the highway. I excelled in my technical writing course and in English Composition. After fifteen years in a technical job I taught myself to program computers. For the past nine years I've made my living writing computer programs.
A handful of years ago I decided to do something about my lifelong dream of becoming a published writer. Along the way I've found that I love the creation of fictional worlds so much that getting published has become secondary. Still, it would be nice.... Interests: The most relaxing thing in the world is to fall asleep with a good book in my hands. Additionally, I enjoy writing, history, music, my family and motorcycling.
