In earlier times (back in school) I won numerous writing contests, published several articles in newspapers and small press magazines. I hate to recall how long ago that's been. Since then and prior to writing novels, I owned a tea room that evoled into a full-scale restaurant when my husband retired from the Air Force and joined me. I was toying with the idea of a book about various customers visited regularly, a la Cheers only with food and tea, but instead wrote one about an old deserted plantation. I then wrote one about a woman framed for murder, and my last one about a young girl growing up in the south during the 1950's. Interests: Literary fiction, primarily about women
