What I wrote in fiction and poetry was always published in private magazines in India -Madras, Bombay Banmgalore and Kanpur. Finally in Khaleej Times Weekend magazine, Dubai, I got the first payments for my contributions. I don't want the buck to stop here!
Guess I'm quite a novice at dealing with the writer's markets and have been rejected by a few publishers including Raider's and Harper's. I'm trying to find a publisher for my historical romance about a medieval Portuguese portcity through the saga of a fictitious Nair-Portuguese family part of whose life is woven into a few episodes connected with the arrival of Vasco-da-Gama and Francis Xavier in ancient Fort Manuel, Cochin. Interests: teaching, writing,gardening, reading,music and dogs
