I grew up in poverty (poor people looked down on us, we were so poor (:) Joined the army at age fifteen with an altered birth certificate. Infantry basic, artillery basic. Spent most of my years in commercial and residential Construction. Political writer, newspaper columns in a number of publications, political advisor for several candidates.
Having furthered my education while in the army and falling in love with writing, I began writing fiction some fifteen years ago from actual life experiences. I now have a book site with all my presently owned work posted and am looking for other excellent writers to post their work for sale. http://www.booksbybill.com There is no charge to the writer.
I am available for website building and maintaining, as well as helping authors with their work. I began my writing career by taking a number of creative fiction writing classes and now teach such classes in summer adult education. I also do writing workshops and seminars for writing groups.
An idea that many writers have not thought of is a critique group via the internet. If you are in a face to face critique group, the best way to critique one another's work is to exchange chapters, next meeting, discuss them, then exchange another chapter. This can be done quite easily electronically.
I live in San Antonio with my lovely wife, Maria. Feel free to email me.
