Phillip V. Cruz, Jr.

Talofofo, Other US, Guam

Email: pcruz77@yahoo.com

I hold a Bachelors degree in Communication: Mass Media Track.

I am from Guam and for those who don't know about Guam, Guam, a U.S. Territory since 1898, purchased from Spain by the U.S. in that same year.

It lies in the South Pacific about 13 degrees north latitude and 144 degrees east longitude. We, the indeginous people of the island of Guam, were granted US Citizenship in the 1940's, thanks to the Organic Act.

I was born in San Diego, California. I lived there with my family until I was about two. Then we moved to Salinas, which is part of the Monterey County. When I was 14, the whole family decided to move back to Guam, the birthplace of my parents and two sisters.

I have done some freelance gigs, nothing to really be proud of, but it was a good feeling after I've seen my name in print and published.

Interests: My interests inlcude writing, music, reading, drawing, and spending time with friends, family, and relatives. Being from a small island, one of my favorite get-togethers are with friends, family, and relatives barbecueing at the beach or at anyone's hous
