I was born and raised in Portland, Maine. But after graduating Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine, I gravitated to the big city to the south, Boston.I've worked numerous jobs since graduation but have generally stayed in the non-profit field dealing with issues of housing, tenants' rights and homelessness. I became politically involved while living in Boston, but I choose to remain independent with little respect for either major party. I now live in Haverhill, Massachusetts, married with three kids, a daughter 11 and twin boys 9 who are special needs. Going through Bowdoin, I had little direction regarding a career. I began to write after taking my last exam, starting with science fiction but becoming eclectic, diverging to screenplays briefly before returning to my first love, the novel. My first book will be published in the spring of 2008 through Kunati Books. Titled HUNTING THE KING, it is a page-turner about an archaeolgist leading an expedition into Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus.I like to provoke even as I entertain and hope this debut novel will open debate on such issues as the true meaning of faith.
