Alexandra Lomónaco
Buenos Aires, Argentina Email: alexlomonaco@fibertel.com.ar Born in New York, 1947, raised in Argentina. Have traveled extensively throughout Latin America and the U.S., having lived almost a decade in Mexico. Multilingual translator (Spanish, English, French, Italian, Portuguese), working worldwide. Fields of expertise: literature and the humanities, so feel free to contact me with your inquiries or to request my resumé. My web site: www.qualitytranslations.cjb.net, my e-mail address: alexlomonaco@fibertel.com.ar, or alexlomonaco@yahoo.com.ar. With so much writing for others, I only published my first novel "Sombras nada más" in 1998. A second one is ready, as also a book of short stories. My degree is in Fine Arts and Music, and have participated, with my small, ethnic-like,abstract, hand embroidered tapestries in a number of exhibits, here and abroad, having been granted a number of awards. Presently, my only interest, besides my work as a translator, is literature and writing. I would very much like to correspond with other writers. I also hope to find a publisher willing to translate and publish my novel abroad. I presently own the rights of my work, for all languages. Interests: Latin American literature, fiction and non fiction. Travelers, biographies, history, anthropology, the humanities.
