My name is David Lugo, and I am a 20 year old writer from Toms River, N.J.. I published my first novel at the age of 19, and I sold nearly 500 copies. This was done with no agent and no outside help. I wanted to see if those who did actually buy my book would like it, and they did, so I knew that this was what I wanted to do. I am more of a freelance writer. I can write any sort of material that is needed, and i have great knowledge of all of my topics. Currently, I am writing my second novel and my second screenplay. Obviously, my first novel has been released, and my first screenplay is completed. Now all I am looking for is great representation that will help me bring my work to the highest level for people to see. I have nothing but talent, and i am very confident in what I can do. Writing is something that I feel strongly about, and I promise that I will be heard for my work. All I need is someone to take that chance on a young talent.
Side info:
I am also an actor. I recently had a show at the PNC Bank Arts Center. There I drew much attention from international agencies for modeling and acting. I can provide a tape of the show if anyone is interested in it, and I can give references if needed. My acting skills are very good, and all of my characters that I intend on playing are my own, and they are all completely original.
I also have musical sources if any are needed. I write music, and I have demos of artists that I have worked with already, and i have links that I can send to anyone interested.
Conclusion:
I am the future of my profession, and I take my work seriously. Currently, I am with Long Ridge Writers Group, and I am bettering my writing skills even more. By the time my work with them is over, I will have two completed manuscripts that will be ready for publication.
My first screenplay is available to anyone who is interested as well. And my second screenplay will be completed before the new year. I will be sending copies to names such as Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, and The Game for one of the lead roles. Interests: Athletics, writing, nature, romance, and pretty much anything else that catches my attention.
