Denise Amodeo Miller
Kenmore, New York, United States
Author: Force Beyond Lace 2009.
With years of college and career moves in the past, Denise Amodeo Miller renewed her childhood love of writing in Fall 2006.
She joined a local writers group about that time, and soon thereafter became the assistant organizer of that terrific and talented assembly.
Within that very short time after, her poem "The Richness of Beef" won the 2nd place award in Sol Magazines Spring 2007 Poetry Contest.
Her work has been published in Nickel City Nights, The Trees of Surprise Anthology and is scheduled to appear in Empty Shoes and the Just Buffalo Literary Society's 2008 Buffalo Anthology.
She performed her poetry at Buffalo's Largest Live Poetry Event, Urban Epiphany, held in April 2007. Her live reading is able to be heard through a link on this site.
While her passions move her to poetry, she has also begun trying her hand at other forms of writing and has been published, also, in the best selling series Chicken Soup for the Busy Mom's Soul.
