I am a published true-crime author, with six books currently available.

My background in publishing:
In 2004, I co-wrote and published River of Blood: Serial Killers and Their Victims through Universal Publishers. The book investigates serial killers from around the world, from the earliest recorded case in Ancient Rome to modern-day killers. The book’s inception was as small chapters on my website www.thecrimeweb.com and developed into a full-length textbook that is now used in universities in Australia and Italy.

This year I have published three true crime books examining the forensic investigation of some of the world's biggest crimes. The books are: Art Theft, Terror in the Sky and The Lottery Kidnapping. The books were commissioned for Uk and US markets and have been sold to international secondary and primary schools as well as general release.

As one of the top experts on the study of Jack the Ripper, I have written a number of articles regarding the juxtaposition of “Jack’s” crimes to those of modern-day killers and the unknown killer’s impact on criminology today that have been published in the prestigious criminology journals: RipperNotes and Ripperologist.

My expertise however has not been restricted to the publishing field. I have consulted on a number of Australian and international production companies, providing the invaluable information and background on killers for documentaries and films. I also featured in the women’s magazine New Idea and have filmed segments for Enough Rope with Andrew Denton and Today Tonight. I have also appeared on several Australian news and radio programs speaking about crime and serial killers.

Also, I have had the honour of writing preview critiques for publishing houses and film distributors.

Interests: I have spent countless hours over the years interviewing serial killers, as well as families and investigators.
