In 1982 I caught the writing bug when a teacher of journalism saw something special, "his words" in my writings and wanted to enroll me in a writing program for the gifted. I turned it down, not realizing that 10 years later my affinity to write would resurface with a vengeance. Since that time I have written three screenplays that lately have begun to gain momentum in the writing community my latest project a collection of short stories deeply rooted in the horror genre is my latest brainchild that I hope to complete and publish very soon and others come from dreams that I've had in the past. I want to share my vision of what I think horror coupled with suspense should be, not the cloned watered down horror movies that are coming out in the movies. I speak not only from my own perspective but that of other horror fans that share my own personal point of view.
