Laura Britton
Noblesville, Indiana, United States Email: laurelei_lb@yahoo.com I have been a writer since I was nine years old, when I read _Little Women_. Fashioning myself after Jo March, I immediately began writing novels and short stories in discarded spiral notebooks.
The years have brought many changes in my personal interests, and I acquired a degree in English Education, a sweet family, and fascination with the metaphysical universe. My personal writing tends to involve these three elements, either alone or in some combination.
My current projects include a novel-length work of historical fiction in which I have cast the Greek poet Sappho as a priestess of Aphrodite and a children's book series fabling the lives of a magical family living in a non-magical world. I also have plans to write a fantasy series chronicling the return of Dragons to world of consensus reality.
In the meantime, I am working on freelance writing and editing projects, building my portfolio, and polishing my skills.
