Being a humorous person at heart, I absolutely love to read writing which are funny and thought-provoking at the same time.
As a writer, I like to create characters and situations which have a subtle humor or funniness in them. This helps me bring in the flow of my own humor and also a smile on other peoples' lips who read it.
I like to inject a lot of spunk and wit in whatever I write, as these qualities are very apparent in me. For me my characters must have a 'bit of me' in them. As it enables me to see myself by another name and in a different form altogether.
I have tried my hand at fictional-writing in the past and have failed miserably too. However, my constant failed attempts have enabled me to create a perfection titled 'Love is a Verb'.
Currently being published in 'Young Times', the story has fetched good reviews so far and I hope it continues to do so until its conclusion and perhaps, even afterwards.
LIAV is definitely not my last tryst,as there is a lot more I want to write about and... LIAV is just the beginning of things!

Freelanced for a premier university-circulated newspaper in the UAE - Campus Journal. (November 2006 - January 2008)
Freelanced for the premier youth-magazine of the Gulf - Young Times (April 2000- Present)
Co-written the script and dialogues for a feature-film called 'Amerikistan'. The feature is presently being filmed in Houston, Texas, United States. Directed and Conceptualized by Shahbazz Anwerr. (2007-Present)
