Born near New Orleans, Louisiana, USA, I now live in Denver, Colorado. Between those times, my career as a consultant to the pharmaceutical industry has taken me as far afield as England.
This year, two of my articles, one on the "neurohacking" phenomenon and one on EEG technology for handheld and other personal computers ran in ComputorEdge magazine. Before then, I co-authored an extensive article on peripheral artery disease for Diabetes Forecast, the American Diabetes Association's popular-audience monthly magazine.
I've also done a lot of institutional writing - proposals for major clinical data processing projects and government-funded university research, medical journal articles and user and technical manuals.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Technical Writing from Louisiana Tech in Ruston, Louisiana. Prior to entering the Technical Writing program at Louisiana Tech, I studied Biomedical Engineering. My technical background includes experience in electronics, electromechanics, robotics, computer programming and database management. Interests: technology (biological, computer, robotics, electronics, aerospace, weapons), medicine
