Bob Zima

Cary, Illinois, United States

Home page:

Bob Zima holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. He has worked in the mental health field since 2004 as an emergency & brief-therapy counselor & even as a camp program director.

From 1987 to 2003, he worked in radio, television, advertising and corporate communications & trained with Chicago's Second City.

Bob has an "A-Story" list of life experiences in which include: overcoming addiction, near divorce, the death of two children, homelessness, financial ruin and bankruptcy. These stories set the stange for Bob's genuine and authentic work: helping others find Hope and Humor when in the most painful times of life.

Now combining his psychology and media backgrounds he boldly, and in a very cocky manner, speaks on grief, loss, trauma, crisis, hope and laughter. Some people just won't get Bob, his humor, his style and persona and that's ok. If you get it, welcome.

Interests: Most Sports, Humor/Comedy, Traveling, Eating-Out, Creatvie and Original Movies and Why People Do the Crazy, F-ing Things That They Do.
