Milica Jankovic was born on 26 November 1971, in Kragujevac. She is an environment control technician by her vocation. Nevertheless, she has been writing since her early youth. Ms Jankovic was awarded many times at literary contests. Her works were published in "Woman" ("Žena") magazine, as well as in the literary periodical "Natron".
Ms Jankovic published a socio-psychological novel Instinct (Instinkt), (Yugoslavian Association of Authors, Belgrade 2004). She wrote a collection of satirical stories There is something fishy here (Nisu tu cista posla), published on the site of Serbian Diaspora, under the title Milica's stories. Also, her story, A Blind Mirror (Slepo ogledalo), won a second prize at the theatre of satire "Žikišon", held in the town of Paracin in 2005. Her story, An Idle talk, (Prazna prica) is included in the anthology of short stories The Shortest Stories of 2004 (Najkrace price 2004) (Alma, Belgrade 2005). Moreover, her works are included in the following: in a book Anthology of the shortest unpublished stories of a magazine "Act" (Akt, Valjevo 2005), in a collection of prose & poems A voice has awoken (Probudi se glas) (Dom kulture, Knjaževac 2005), as well as in a book The Doors of My Story (Vrata moje price) (Alma, Belgrade 2005). Ms Jankovic is the author of the novel The Marked (Obeležena) (Dobra knjiga, Belgrade 2005). She is a member of the Yugoslavian Association of Authors. Her writing pseudonym is Milica Blagojevic-Jankovic. Ms Jankovic lives and works as a free lancer in Veliki Popovic by the town of Despotovac.
Under preparation: a collection of short stories A Blind Mirror (Slepo ogledalo) and the novel A Street Zebra (Ulicna zebra).
