As writers, just as in life, my husband and I are partners…
Although it seems like a lifetime of scribbles and notes have led up to this - we have been published free-lance writers for more than 7 years. Our work has appeared in a variety of Canadian and American publications. In addition, Lillian’s poetry has appeared in several anthology books and Newsletters and her book, Towards Understanding - a collection of 120 poems - is now available. She is also a book reviewer for Book Ideas. Our column, Trash Talk, has developed into a book that was released August 2nd, 2004. We continue with our various free-lance writings as well as our on-going book projects.
Most recently, the Recycling Council of British Columbia recognized our efforts during the 31st Annual Waste Reduction Conference 2005 held at Harrison Hot Springs. RCBC awarded us with top honors in the Journalist and Media Educator category for "outstanding use of various media in ongoing outreach work to reduce waste in our environment."
