Oluwayemisi Mafe is a well experienced writer who is always keen for new experience.
Borne out of an innate desire to express her creative ingenuity through event management and exotic ambience creation; Oluwayemisi Mafe floated Truly An Event in 2006 to meet the taste of discerning clients who use event in their brand-building effort. Not one to rest on her oars, she started a publishing/media company Graceful Heritage Media in December 2009.
She is a graduate of English from the University of Ilorin and an alumnus of Fate Foundation’s Aspiring Entrepreneurial Programme. She started her career as a Freelance Journalist with Herald Group of Newspapers in Ilorin, Yemisi gained tremendous experience in the Marketing Communications industry working with top notch agencies like Quadrant, TBWA, Insight. Between 2005 and 2008, she wrote with a pseudonym for ThisDay on Sunday. Oluwayemisi writes regularly for her church magazine and she deploys new media extensively to gain mileage for the various bodies she works for as a publicist.
Oluwayemisi is an associate member of various professional bodies such as Advertising Practitioner’s Council Of Nigeria, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, National Institute of Marketing in Nigeria and Women In Management & BIZ. Oluwayemisi volunteers as a publicist for various NGOs such as Society for the Safety of Insane and Destitute (SO-SAID); a rehab for the mentally challenged. She also volunteers as a publicist for Healing Stripes Cancer and Diagnostics Centre. Oluwayemisi serves as the Secretary General of Creative Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria; a body established to incorporate the Creative industries in Nigeria in line with the recommendations of the British Council, UNESCO and UNCTAD to help accelerate sectorial growth and development. Oluwayemisi also serves as a member of the Fate Foundation Publications Volunteer Committee.

Interests: Writing, traveling, playing scrabble, gardening, watching movies, lilstening to music and going to the beach.
