Jeanette Cooper

Live Oak, Florida, United States

Home page:

Jeanette Cooper fell in love with writing prior to her teens when she learned the thrill of inventing characters on paper. It was also a way to explore the universe, to research the unknowns that served to make her writings more realistic, and to enjoy a vast resource of knowledge and learning.

Jeanette attended schools and colleges in Florida, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Reading Instruction; thus, becoming an elementary school teacher. With the demands on students to demonstrate proficiency in writing on State Assessment Tests, Jeanette’s favorite subject was teaching creative writing. Her instruction with students kept her joy of writing alive and active.

Following retirement after twenty-six years of teaching, Jeanette turned solely to writing fiction and making it a joyous learning venture. She has written many novels, and ‘Wall of Color’ was her first choice for publication, which is followed by Conquered Heart. Her third novel is 'When Justice is Served.' She lives in Florida and is presently busy working on her next book which is a murder mystery about a young woman who eventually solves the murders through her psychic abilities.
