Winslow Eliot's novels have been translated into eleven languages and published in twenty countries. She is the author of The Bright Face of Danger (St. Martin's Press 1993). The Wine-Dark Sea (1983); Painted Secrets (1984); Red Sky At Night (1985); A Distant Light (1985); and Roman Candles (1986) were published under the pseudonym Ellie Winslow, for Signet/NAL. The Wine-Dark Sea was bought by ITC in Hollywood, and made into a screenplay. In addition to many other freelance assignments, she has been a contributing author to Area, the Oriental Rug Magazine for many years, and a reader for the Independent Film Project in New York City. Winslow is Community Relations Director for the Honolulu Waldorf School.
