I have honed my skills on the streets and the gutters and in prison where I spent many years with the dregs of humanity.
Now I run workshops with children and youth at risk and those in conflict with the law within correctional institutions and the broader community and am currently working on a commissioned biography.

In many ways poetry has been and remains, the pristine habitat of my sanity – within the often vulgar, turmoil of living – where the essence of beauty finds form through expression.
my poetry has been published in various international anthologies as well as ROOTZ Magazine.

i have written for theatre and have contributed significantly to the development of various documentaries.
