I am a female Ugandan medical anthropologist with training in Mass Communication and Literature, Development Studies and Medical Anthropology. I love people: it is interesting how different and yet also similar, we are. I stare, admire, observe, witness, enjoin with, participate in, listen to, share with, touch, feel smell and mingle with people in order to know who they are. I like to write about life: about sexuality and masculinity and femininity and queerness and the minglings of everyday life. I am a learner of how people make meaning of the lives they lead. And I write best about the mundane realities of the lives we lead. I fight for gender equity, men's rights and women's empowerment. I live for today's children having a fairer chance than the children on my time.
