English, United States

Home page:

After working for years as a freelance writer of both fiction and nonfiction for newspapers and magazines, Elizabeth Melton Parsons now prefers writing novels under the name of E. G. Parsons. A confirmed tomboy, she loved growing up amidst the wild beauty of the Florida Everglades. Elizabeth was born the 5th child of six, with four brothers and one sister. Her parents were hardworking farmers who instilled in her a love of the rural life and faith in God.

Elizabeth always loved books, learning to read before entering school. She began writing poetry at age twelve after reading Emily Dickinson and Edgar Allen Poe. In recent years her poetry has been featured in College and High School syllabuses.

Elizabeth loves reading and writing romantic tales interwoven with intrigue, mystery, suspense and the paranormal. Being a member of various writing guilds and workshops over the years has helped to define her realistic and unique style. Elizabeth resides in the beautiful rural countryside of the Midwest with her husband, sons, and Sophie the schnoodle. Visit Elizabeth at
