Her articles have addressed diversity in the workplace as well as career development issues, and build from twenty years experience as a Human Resources/Organizational Development consulting professional working in a wide range of organizational settings including non-profit, corporate, higher education, "Big 6" Consulting, technology, and start-up.

Susan Eckert is currently writing a creative memoir - Under a Black Sky - which examines issues of race identification, race relations, class, parenting, and family dynamics.
