descendants of the McGreggor clan in Scotland
and their immigration from Scotland in the
1780’s through their early years in the new
Americas. The story follows our particular
McAdams family across the ocean in
the 1780’s using historical references
and documentation, vital records, family
records, federal records, and stories told
by my fathers before me in their own words.
My research and findings of my family
quickly became an adventure of riveting
drama, love, war, murder, and wealth.
It kept me on the edge of my seat while researching and
writing about these remarkable events in time.
