James Stevens

James Stevens is the pastor of Welcome Baptist Church in Laurens, South Carolina where he resides with his wife Misty and their four children. He enjoys hiking, racing, writing, and spending time with his family. He holds degrees from Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute, Hendersonville, NC (AA of Religion and Church Ministries), Wingate University, Wingate, NC (BA in Religious Studies), and a Master of Christian Ministry from North Greenville University, Tigerville, SC. He served as the president of the South Carolina Chapter of the Fruitland Alumni Association from 2004-2007. He placed 1st in Persuasive Speaking at the South Carolina Speech Communication Association College Festival in 2002.
