Jim Ware

Lee's Summit, Missouri, Vatican City State

Email: jimware@jimwareworks.com

I'm a Baby Boomer grandfather of four with two more on the way. Like so many of my peers, I did the college thing in the sixties. What a trip that was! I think my generation is the one that invented the five and six year bachelor's degree.

Having just retired early from a technical career, I immediately pursued my need to create. The grueling pace of a technology career tends to strip a person of all creative energy. Several paintings and two childrens' ebooks later, I decided to write a young reader's fiction thriller/adventure. With the amazing acceptance of the Harry Potter series, it seemed to be the right time to fold some of my boyhood adventures into a short fun book for the young reader.

It's time for me to do the 'query thing' and it scares me to death. The name of my book is The Dragon's Feather. Wish me luck. I'll be cabbaging on to any suggestions I can find on the internet that might improve my chances in this industry.

If you get a chance, check out my website at jimwareworks.com. You don't have to buy anything. I just want to share what I've been doing for the last year of my life.

Good luck to all of you!
