Jackie was born in Govanhill, Glasgow and is a resident of Cumnock (Inertia), Doom Valley Scotland. Jackie is approaching his forties and is promising even more bitterness with each new piece of writing we receive. Jackie is a lifelong Trotskyist, infamous in Glasgow leftwing circles for his bullseye ability for spitting disgusting phlegm bombs at nasty rightwing arseholes.
Jackie first came to our attention after making initial impact with his sleeve-note shorts compilation C.O.D.Y. in collaboration with Glasgow Gangster Funk. Since then he has continued to impress from his first published poetry pieces "Ten Dead Men"/"Wank Generation" EP on Brigade Verde to his most recent novel "Thugs and Thieves", which was released through Single Cell Press in 2004.
