Barriers are meant to be overcome -- if they weren't, no one would have bothered putting the barrier there in the first place. I have been published in a bunch of small press zines and anthologies -- offline and online -- generally in the literary, new age or horror niches. I am most often published as a poet, though some short- and micro-fiction and essays are included. I am currently polishing off my first novel-length manuscript, an experimental dreamscape based loosely on the alchemical writings of George Ripley -- the destruction of the self as paramount in the quest for self. Usually I find my inspiration to write in music -- Orff's 'Carmina Burana' is wonderful to stir the deep passions -- but find my inspiration to be a writer in mavericks like W.S. Burroughs and Hunter Thompson.

Interests: The macabre, the strange, the alien. I have a passion for words -- the sheer power they can exude; the utter meaninglessness of language.
