After a career in journalism which included a regular column in a glossy magazine and book reviews, I wrote "Largely Happy" a self-esteem and health book for bigger people, published in 2000 by David Bateman Ltd.
In 2004, Random House published 'Healthy Kids, Happy Kids" for parents worried about the psychological and physical effects of overweight (and society's hatred of fat and fat people) on children. I have also ghosted a book on spiritual healing, had numerous fictional stories published and read on radio and still write the occasional article for a paying customer.
Currently I run classes in Creative Writing in Waitakere and via the web. Anyone wishing to join either the cyber-group workshops or the monthly writers workshop, please mail me.
I am a member of the New Zealand Society of Authors.
