Elizabeth Kilbride has over 25 years of business development, communications/public relations, consulting and lobbying experience in the defense and security industries. Ms. Kilbride is a seasoned professional who has successfully launched new ventures and worked with corporations, media, and various government organizations in determining and fulfilling revenue requirements related to military and defense initiatives. Having grown up in a very strong New York military family, she has worked closely with the United States Marine Corps, United States Army, United States Navy, as well as various veteransí organizations throughout her career. Her technical expertise includes business development, developing logistics, training and security initiatives while leveraging government and private sector resources for community outreach programs, and she is also a published author.
Over the years, Ms. Kilbride has been instrumental in helping various military and veteranís organizations bring about changes with respect to national defense and national security issues. As a result of her involvement in over 300 political campaigns throughout the last 25 years, she has gained the respect of both political parties. She has had the privilege of using her security and logistics background in direct support of four Presidential Inaugurations.
Upon returning to Washington, DC after 9/11, Ms. Kilbride learned that 35 of her personal friends were killed at both the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. Although devastated at the news, she immediately decided to call upon her tremendous resolve and determination, as a true New Yorker, to triumphantly turn that horrific event into positive action and began creating the Project America Foundation in memory of those dear friends she and the nation lost that unforgettable day. The Project America Foundation is an educational and charitable organization in support of our men and women in uniform both on the streets and around the world, while educating our youth about patriotic history and securing our homeland now and in the future for generations to come.
Ms. Kilbride has worked with numerous private, public and political groups in order to raise awareness and funds from corporate and individual donors with respect to the Project America Foundation. She is a frequent guest speaker at various military and veterans organizations throughout the Washington, DC area. She is the author of "America United: A Generation's Sacrifice during World War II".
Ms Kilbride has recently returned from her travels to Iraq as embedded writer with our Armed Forces and is currently working on three more literary works as well as a screenplay for a documentary series.
