I've been a working writer since 1989, with stints as a newspaper reporter and columnist and theatre director.

FICTION/NON-FICTION

SIMON AND SCHUSTER

Nearly twenty juvenile novels, chapter books and picture books based on the Nickelodeon stable of characters.

These include:

SpongeBob SquarePants (three books to date, one of them a New York Times Bestseller)

Jimmy Neutron (four books)

CatDog (four books)

Rocket Power (four books)

Bob The Builder (two books)

Rugrats (one book)

The Fairly Oddparents (one book)

Was also selected by Universal Studios and Steven Spielberg to write the tie-in juvenile novels based on the re-release of the science-fiction classic E.T.

LANDOLL'S / MCGRAW HILL

Wrote the entire line of titles (picture books, story books, coloring books, etc.) based on the Dreamworks motion picture Small Soldiers.

Worked extensively on the Dreamworks properties ANTZ and Chicken Run.

Also for Landollís wrote various original seasonal story books, and a series based on Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo.

HARLEQUIN/GOLD EAGLE

Three men's adventure novels for the Deathlands science fiction series under the house name of "James Axler."

These include:

Freedom Lost

Dark Emblem (which was voted one of the all-time best DEATHLANDS novels by fandom)

EXPLORER PRESS

The Andy Griffith Story: An Illustrated Biography

This remains the definitive -- and ONLY -- biography of the famous N.C. actor to date.

ARCHIE COMICS

Archie's Pal Jughead (staff writer, part of a "new look" for the character)

DC COMICS

Literally hundreds of scripts for the Looney Tunes and Cartoon Network line of titles, featuring characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Scooby-Doo and Yogi Bear.

CALIBER PRESS

Explorers, an original adventure series about Xenology, Inc, a family of scientists and adventurers who traveled the world seeking out the unknown. Critically-acclaimed, and almost optioned by Scholastic. All-ages title.

CUSTOM COMICS

RaceWarrior, a weekly series tie-in with NASCAR / Winston Cup Racing for the year 2000-01. Estimated distribution of each issue was an amazing 1,000,000 copies!

MARVEL ENTERTAINMENT

Four issue mini-series Coneheads, featuring the characters from NBC's Saturday Night Live. Numerous issues of The Ren and Stimpy Show.

MILLENNIUM PUBLICATIONS

Assorted mini-series titles: Doc Savage: Doom Dynasty; Doc Savage: Repel; H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu; The Man From U.N.C.L.E., Anne Rice's The Witching Hour.
