Gena Garrison attended South Carolina State University where she studied Elementary Education with a minor in voice. She studied writing briefly at Greenville Technical College, and also participated in many online writing projects that she feels prepared her for writing to a broad audience.
She enjoys singing gospel music and is a member of the St. Mark Inspirational choir where she is a featured soloist. Her love of the arts expands into other areas and she also enjoys writing poetry, plays, articles and short stories.
Baring it All is Gena's first published novel. She also has another finished novel waiting in the wings entitled The Rainbow Z and is part owner of Private Library, a new story site located at www.privatelibrary.net
This site was established for the published, and yet to be published authors to have a place to read, and showcase their work in an open environment.
She has a strong faith in God and a love for her family, her friends, and her church.
Gena and her son reside in Greenville, SC the hometown she was born and raised in.
