After years of starting a writing assignment and returning it to the back burner, I started writing regularly about five years. Most of my recent work is related to religious and social issues. I am available to work on any kind of writing assignment and charge by hour or by the project, depending upon estimated number of hours needed to complete. I also am an associate editor for a non-profit organization's by-monthly magazine. My writing style is not the boring and lifeless variety. I try to bring color even to corporate writing contracts (manuals, brochures, seminar materials). Originality and directness are two elements I continually strive for in all of my work. I also do editing related work periodically. I have a Master's Degree in International Development. My core graduate work was completed in anthropology and forestry/environmental related studies at North Carolina State University. My undergrad degree is in liberal arts/theology concentration. My curriculum included courses in journalism, technical writing, and broadcasting. Interests: technical writing; natural healing issues;
