When the writing bug bit me, it bit me hard. So hard, in fact, that I took voluntary retirement with the idea of plunging into it full time. But did I? I couldn't. I had to know the ropes. So, the next best thing I could do was to join a field where I was able to remain in touch with writing and earn a living too. I took up the job of a copywriter in an ad agency.

After five years and three ad agencies, I could muster enough courage to be on my own as a full time freelance writer, taking on all those trained writers with fancy degrees and oodles of chutzpah that comes along with it. No. I didn't better them, I joined them and won myself a number of very stable clients, who remain with me to this day.

Published work? Plenty, but under client's name, because I wrote it for them as a ghost writer, my speciality!

Interests: Reading, writing, playing chess & literati on the net (Yahoo).
