Shakir Adedeji Ajayi was born on 7th of January, 1980 at the deserted village of Ajuwon, a surburb of Ogun state, South Western Nigeria. He had a rough upbringing that shaped his perception of realtiy which he was only able to change when he got a dose of modernisation at the completion of his post secondary education at the Eyinni Comprehensive High School, Iboro Ogun state.
Shakir is the second in the family of three. Tesleem is his elder brother while Taofeek is his younger brother.
Dejjie as he love to be called love reading, writing, appreciates good slow music, plays lawn tennis and love criticism.
He is the President of The Campus Players (TCP) Mapoly, a registered performing Arts group of the institution. He is also the president of The Press Club of Mapoly.
Shakir is currently in HND 11 with an Upper Credit standing
