At the time of writing, I am just about to live in China for six months - mostly teaching English to Chinese students - which I am very excited about; after that I will go to Cambridge University to study Philosophy. I finished school (The Latymer School, North London) last year with 5AS at A level, and am just taking a year out to escape the bubble that I slightly do feel that I'm in!

My main passion, as you probably guessed, is Philosophy, because I think it asks the right kinds of questions; that is, fundamental questions about the nature of reality which - for me personally - are too important and too challenging to be ignored. Obviously, though, I'm still young, and I have a lot to learn; so unfortunately - although I am extremely interested in the subject - I can't yet profess to be a master of it.

Writing, for me, started as an internal exploration of my personal state of mind - choosing words to translate my thoughts, and collecting and rearranging them on a page became for me a catharsis, a therapeutic way to get a grasp on a certain situation. Now, as I've seen others' reactions to my writing and have discussed it with people who know what they're talking about - namely, my vastly knowledgable teacher and friend Peter Brennan and the acclaimed poet Mario Petrucci - I have (I hope) a more accurate understanding of what writing could be for me. With my poems, my essays and my short compositions I try to express myself with a style that is modern and concise, but still expresses concisely and poignantly what I'm really trying to say.

If you're interested in contacting me, please email me at the above address instead of using messenger - I'm not subscribed!
