He spent 10 years as Audiovisual Archivist with the Herbert Hoover Presidential Library/National Archives and currently is the Multimedia Archivist for August Home Publishing in Des Moines, Iowa. He also works as a freelance editor and has operated Classic Film Collections, his own mail-order movie memorabilia business, since 1982. He currently is writing the book, WARNER BROS. WISEGUYS: ROBINSON, CAGNEY AND BOGART, for McFarland; and developing another book, PAUL ROBESON: THE FILM CAREER. Other current projects include co-writing, producing, directing and acting in the independent feature film DILLY, to be filmed in Iowa in late summer/early autumn 2005.
